5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic read, 26 Jun 2014
Loved the first book and eagerly awaited the release of the second. I wasnt disappointed this time at all either, the same sense of urgency is there in every page as well as the anxiety inducing sense that something very horrible may happen at any moment. Tamas is by far my fav character- flawed, honourable, powerful, irritating and vengful all rolled up in a complex leader of men. The other characters are equally strong with sub plots and simmering pot boilers all going on in the background. Cant recommend it enough, in a genre that is quite often flooded with inferior prose and character development, this book presents an engrossing roller coaster. Only draw back?

The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, 12 Jun 2014
Great story, fascinating protagonists and clever sub strata story lines woven throughout. A real gem of a book! Its that good that I'm somewhat conflicted as to whether or not to wish for a sequel. Part of me would love to have further encounters with Harry and his nemesis but the ending is so neatly handled it seems a shame to add to it.
