I had never given much thought before of those troops who fought but were from Ireland. Always assumed they were neutral and therefore not involved. I was very wrong and it is clear that they suffered greatly, as did so many thousands from other nations. I have been reading about the Far East POW situation for years as my late father was a FEPOW for three and a half years and did not talk about it on his return. You learn something new every day. It was informative and worth reading.

They were ideal. Our garden table is glass with a thick plastic trim which some clips wouldn't grip on to, but these did the trick. It meant I could leave a vinyl table cover on all the time without worrying about it blowing away.

My grand-daughter is two and a half years old. She absolutely loves Dora! I don't think I have ever seen her sit still long enough to watch a complete DVD! It was entertaining, cheerful and educational -all rolled into one. She was kept interested in the story and was so happy. The DVD arrived promptly, well packaged and delivered what it said it would. Well worth the money. Only problem for me was the voice of Dora! I could still hear it in my head after I had gone to bed. A bit high -pitched and whiny after a while, because my grand-daughter insisted I watch it with her! Oh, the trials and tribulations of being a Papa. I wouldn't have it any other way though for my wee darling!
