I bought this as a Christmas gift but was not, to be frank, expecting much more than a coffee-table book. NeetŠ - 3 Port HDMI AUTO SWITCH 3x1 Mini Hub Box (&hellip by Neet Cables

I intended using this to connect my Mac Mini and PS3 into a Hitachi 37" 1080p monitor (only 1 HDMI input). Both Mac and PS3 have given me 1080p with this monitor but lack of inputs meant I was having to use the VGA input at 1280 * 768 for the Mac, which left black bars on either side of the display. So the switch initially worked fine with the Mac until I switched the PS3 on; the unit then switched to the PS3, sort of; picture and sound flickered on and off like a failing fluorescent tube. And then it wouldn't switch back to the Mac, even after powering off the PS3; I had to manually disconnect and reconnect to get a handshake. Be warned!
