The Great Gifts by Susan Frances Edwards
The Great Gifts by Susan Frances Edwards
Fantasy is not my usual choice, but I read "The Great Gifts" on the strength of her Poetry and Prose collection "Beauty, Light and Music". Again, I found her writing to be fluent, beautifully descriptive and her characters convincing. I would suggest fans of this genre would enjoy "The Great Gifts" very much; there's a lot to get your teeth into. One thing is certain, Susan Frances Edwards is a very skilful storyteller.
Beauty, Light and Music: Poetry and Prose by Susan Frances Edwards
I read this book as a printed copy and found it to be a delightful collection. There is something in here for everyone; lovely descriptive prose and cleverly constructed poetry in a whole range of moods. I'll be looking out for the next collection from this writer.
New World NW901G Gas Built In Double Cavity Oven -&hellip by New World
Firstly, oven light has no switch - so light is on when cooking (and you can't switch it off - not going to save the planet this way!) and then when you want to clean it you cannot put the light on - so you cannot see inside to clean - how stupid can designers get?
Secondly, the grill is a disaster for toast - can't get grill pan close enough to burners - thus bread dries out long before it goes brown - and as for the Fred Carno grill pan 'detachable' handle - a disaster waiting to happen (Health and Safety should ban this dangerous device)
What a terrible product - shame as otherwise oven cooks beautifully
