Classic Movies: 14 Films You May Not Have Seen, Bu&hellip by Rupert Alistair
4.0 out of 5 stars Handy & informafive., 2 Dec 2013
A great little e book that leads you to overlooked, or forgotten cinematic gems
Rupert shows he is a man of discernment by spreading the choice of films across continents as well as time.
Downside to this e book? No pictures, and that IS nitpicking!
Prestatyn Through Time by Harry Thomas
Prestatyn Through Time by Harry Thomas
Harry Thomas is well known in Prestatyn, and the surrounding area. His ghost walks are fun and entertaining, and his lecture evenings are great fun too.

It comes as no surprise then, when looking through this book to be entertained and informed. The pictures alone are worth buying the book for, but the golden nuggets of information and anecdotes are priceless.

A book you will look at over and over again.

Oh and there is a picture of my daughter in it as Miss Prestatyn 2010/2011. The taking of which would fill a book on it's own!
My Mother's Keeper by B.D. Hyman
My Mother's Keeper by B.D. Hyman
1.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother!, 24 May 2013
She may be her Mother's daughter, but somehow BD Hyman lacks the wit and sincerity of her Mother, Bette Davis. The jury may be out on Christina Crawford's claims about her Mother, but I don't think they ever stood up to leave when it comes to this 'story' of a terrible childhood. Spoilt brat comes to my mind! You may want to have a read for sheer curiosity's sake, so if you do, get it as cheaply as possible!
