I can understand why some reviewers might give this game less stars and why it might not appeal to all gamers. But I feel like this game needs to be given the credit it deserves, so I decided to write this review.
Games based on movies are always a bit hit and miss. Some really do have what it takes to distinguish themselves as original games, appropriately following on the movie legend. It has to be said that Back to the future the game is definitely one of those that has made it. Dream Theater is probably one of the hardest bands to write a review for. Firstly I believe that its not possible to write a valid review until the writer has listened to a new album at least 5 or 6 times. Secondly, as most progressive rock listeners will know, it takes time to digest a new album, to understand it and start to see the bigger picture. I guess I can't speak for anyone else, but I know that even 20 or 30 listens into any Dream Theater album, I'm still forming new opinions and perceptions. So how people can write a review practically the day after a new album has been released is beyond me.

Having listened to the first three Giant albums to death, the prospect of a fourth album made me sick with excitement and anticipation. Then I find out that Dann Huff isn't involved.... what the??! With an enormous comeback of ancient but brilliant classic hard rock bands, Giant was shoved to the back of list of prioritised CD's to get, mainly because of this one GIANT fact. Eventually I find out that Terry Brock is taking Danns place on vocals and JOhn Roth from Winger, also taking Danns place on the guitar.
