Featuring Demonstrations by Professional World Champions... Donnie Burns and Gaynor Fairweather, and Marcus and Karen Hilton. Each several times World Champions, the two couples show how it should be done, in an era before the "popularity/entertainment spectacle" of Strictly Come Dancing. Both couples are dancing at their peak, and their demonstrations are electrifying. Music includes Passing Strangers, It don`t mean a thing, Me Voy, Buena Sera, Singin` in the rain, and many more. In addition we see Ballroom/Latin finals with the world`s six top-ranked couples. Enjoy the show !!!

The Ellington Decca years in this wonderful 3 disc collection consists of all of the recordings waxed for the Brunswick and Vocalion labels from 1926 to 1931 (plus all of the alternative takes, which are placed at the end of each disc). A comprehensive booklet is rich in detail of these vintage Ellington years. Sound quality is excellent, and the music is of superlative style, wit, and elegance. This is Duke Ellington and his wonderful soloists (Hodges,Williams,Bigard,Carney etc.) in their prime, and it is an essential collection for all serious lovers of the genre. Absolutely priceless !!
