A comprehensive booklet is rich in detail of these vintage Ellington years. Sound quality is excellent, and the music is of superlative style, wit, and elegance. This is Duke Ellington and his wonderful soloists (Hodges,Williams,Bigard,Carney etc.) in their prime, and it is an essential collection for all serious lovers of the genre. Absolutely priceless !!
