Dr Franklin Goes to France: How America Was Born i&hellip by Stacy Schiff
This book is incredibly well written and very informative. It was engaging and made me feel more like I was reading a novel than a history book.
Unfortunately, the book suffers from some really glaring mistakes in the print, not factual errors but mistakes probably due to incomplete editing. Within the first 50 or so pages there are at least two points where sentences are repeated and and a few places where sentences and phrases just read very awkwardly as they are broken up with poor punctuation.
If you can get past these errors, like I did, you find a very good book underneath.

Das Cabinet Des Dr Caligari [1919] [DVD]
This version is not remastered or cleaned in anyway, the picture is washed out and the film isn't even stabilised. The Eureka version costs a small bit more but it's worth paying a couple of pounds more to see this movie in a watchable format.
