I'd recommend this book to anyone who like me is (was) stuck in a rut, or feels like they're going round in circles trying different books, techniques etc to try to improve their mood. Burns breaks down depressive habits into small pieces allowing you to identify, analyse and battle negative thoughts and their subsequent effects. I set aside 30 min / 1 hour a day to read this book and after two weeks felt better than I had in over a year. If you are willing to treat your mental health like an ongoing project and are committed to improving your perspective on life, this book will help you no end. It is also very easy to dip in & out of.
