An absolutely fantastic film produced with local funding and the forerunner to a Holywood block buster (Contraband).
Reykjavik-Rotterdam was poignant, emotive and one may have been able to empathise with Christopher (Baltasar Kormakur) who went on to direct Contraband.
The film was fast paced and a true testimony to creative genius because it was an epic especially when the budgetary constraints are taken into effect. The words "When little acorns become mighty oaks" are so true and anyone who has watched Contraband should also watch Reykjavik-Rotterdam to appreciate the evolvement of a concept.
