Mamma Mia! The Movie [DVD] [2008] DVD ~ Meryl Streep

1.0 out of 5 stars Oh My God!, 30 Nov 2008
If you're the type of person who likes screeching and shouting 'Oh My God' constantly, then this is the film for you!

Where do I start?

Music: I adore ABBA, but this besmirches their name for all time. Imagine if Charles Manson sung the Beatles & it became a hit, that's a similar level to which this film has sunk and how effectively it ruins the good name of Abba. It is impossible to ruin their best songs but this film manages pretty well.

Script: Non-existent. Shouting 'Oh My God' a lot.

Plot: The flakiest premise of a film I've ever come across. And I've had the misfortune to see the stage show as well. I must have expurgated it from my memory,… Read more
DG834N RangeMax NEXT Wireless ADSL Modem Router & &hellip by NetGear

Bought this for 86.99 on Amazon for the DG834N / WN121T set. After reading reviews I was expecting problems. However when compared with the supposed best wireless pre-draft router on the market, the D-Link DIR-655, the price was just too tempting. The D-Link would've worked out (with ADSL modem & adapter card) at closer to 200 pounds.

It installed easily - I was familar with Netgear setup after owning a DG834GT for a couple of years. After an hour or so however, the wireless link cut out completely and I had to reboot my laptop. This is cured now and this is what I did:

The router as of the time of writing (24 Nov 2007) comes with up to date firmare so no change… Read more
Tim Buckley - My Fleeting House [2007] [DVD] DVD ~ Tim Buckley

At last, something worthy of displaying the talents of the late Mr Buckley! I've tried various video compilations over the years usually of dubious quality. This DVD is worth it alone for Larry Beckett & Lee Underwood's commentary, but it's the quality of the footage that takes your breath away. If you're a fan you'll have seen most of the footage before, but they must've got access to original source tapes of early generation copies. Simply amazing to see such wonderful footage after all these years.
