50 Greatest Rolling Stones Tracks PLUS 50 Greatest&hellip by Kevin Taggart
Last week I downloaded my copy. I thoroughly enjoyed Kevin Taggart's 50 Beatles Songs. That was a totally different approach to my favorite band. Now he's got a knockout companion covering the Rolling Stones which I knew would be equally as good if not better !! I just love this concept . A trawl through what he regards as the 50 Greatest Stones songs. Well discussing this with a couple of friends raised a few disagreements but we all agreed that it was a good idea .The aditional area of interest is his 50 Greatest Albums Of The 70s. 5.0 out of 5 stars BEATLES BUT DIFFERENT, 22 Feb 2014
I generally tend not to buy books via download but this one caught my eye.The author had approached the subject in a totally different way. Being able to scan through his 50 favorite Beatles songs was very interesting. Yes there are some facts that Beatles fans will be well aware of but that does not detract.I particularly enjoyed the Prologue also the coverage of other artists who had hits in the same years as the Beatles. This is a book that I will keep returning to. Highly recommended. Maybe the author will consider a similar volume to cover the Rolling Stones? Keep up the good work Mr Taggart .

5.0 out of 5 stars Pryor at his best, 31 Oct 2013
Back in the mid 70s I worked with a guy who told me about Richard Pryor. I had never encountered a Black comedian like Pryor. The nearest had been Bill Cosby and whilst being clever it was tame compared to Pryor. He lent me some LP's and eventually I saw the concert film which was mind blowing . I collected some of the LP's but I had to be careful who I exposed to them.lol When this box set of his major works was released I certainly wanted it . The sound is great and just love the replica sleeves. just a shame that Richard was not around for longer. I wonder what he would have made of Obama?
