4.0 out of 5 stars Great value & sturdy, 26 Jun 2014
I'm an amateur beginner with DSLR photography, so I get a bit irked by comment in forums by seasoned photographers who say "you can't get a good AND cheap tripod". Maybe if I were a semi-pro or even an experienced amateur who enters contests then I could justify forking out over 100 for a tripod, but for now this meets my needs as a beginner and my budget. PROS:

In a nutshell = SUPERB! LOVE IT! BARGAIN!

In the end, despite having no reviews to go off (perhaps because this meant there were no negative reviews) I decided to take a chance on this unknown.

Out of the box I was impressed. It feels rugged and sturdy, it has a reassuring weight to it… Read more

All the pop culture and video games references from my childhood had me nerdgasming and squeeling like a fangirl. Like a cyber punk Willy Wonka full of Tumblr like obsessiveness; very clever, very tense at times and made me desperately want an Oasis rig and to play Flicksynch to my favourite films. Instead I went away and found old 80s arcade games and played them while watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

I'm no book reviewer, I can only say that I loved this book. I think if you grew up in the 80s and/or have a love for the pop culture and gaming in general you will love it. Even if you don't fall into those categories, but enjoy dystopian science fiction you will get… Read more
