Obviously the big names (Partridge, Gervais, Little Britain)phone in their performances, Rob Brydon just isnt funny outside of character comedy (of which hes one of the best by the way) But lesser known acts such as the charming Noel Fielding (AKA Vince Noir from The Mighty Boosh)or the mighty Otis Lee Crenshaw prove that variety is the spice of life and for every world beating comedy show theirs a cult hero to maintain equilibriam...

Well if you ask me it's all getting a bit silly this garage rock thing! Ok Ill get the Strokes comparrison out of the way, undoubtedly the emergance of Noo Yawks finest has paved the way for bands liek the Libertines to break through and This London 4 piece fit the bill wonderfully... lyrics about a waster junkie, all English insults like "Divvy", skinnyleather-clad look, post-punk sound going on...what more do you want? As usual theres not a-lot of originality here, but look to electro music for that, this is pure rock 'n' roll. Maybe the bad language is a bit tacked on for extra shock value but it doesnt ruin things... a hot new prospect
