The Oxford Guide to Style (Language Reference) by Robert Ritter
3.0 out of 5 stars Oxford Guide to Style, 10 Mar 2014
The copy I received was slightly past middle-age and looked rather tired. The packaging was slightly torn as well. I would describe it as well-worn second hand and rather expensive for the condition.
Rififi [1954] [DVD] DVD ~ Jean Servais
Rififi [1954] [DVD] DVD ~ Jean Servais
A film noir classic that I never tire of watching. If there is a Heaven for lovers of great movies, Rififi will surely be there to enjoy into eternity. Simply brilliant in its treatment of desire, human weakness of all description, greed, and love. The title music is wonderful, too. As others have said, the action takes place to the inspiring backdrop of 1950s Paris. Were I to lose my copy of the film I would immediately buy it again.
