The Story of Island Records: Keep on Running by Chris Salewicz
A lovely coffee table companion of the story of arguably Britain's finest record label. Separate articles on key elements in Island's first 50 years(early ska, Witchseason, ZTT, etc) all tell a good story on this multi-faceted label. Lots of lovely artwork too. For me though, as a history package, it is marred by the lack of a chronological overview and a discography would have been helpful, but overall pretty good.
Tiger Universal Trigger Capo - Chrome by Tiger Music
I ordered four of these at under 2 each - a bargain!
They hold the strings on my guitars nice and tightly , but, universal? .............

Warning - On smaller instruments such as ukuleles and mandolins the capo tends to restrict my hand movements behind the neck so it is difficult to play some chords. That might be down to my own style, but I cannot fully recommend this type of design for non-guitar use.
Martin Marquis 92/8 Acoustic Guitar Strings - Phos&hellip by Martin

I normally prefer to buy Elixir strings for my acoustic guitar (lasting so much longer with a bright tone) but these were available for a silly price (under 3 at the time) and so were great value. At their normal price (7 ish), I'd stick to the Elixir. Update - quite impressed with the sound. Being a heavier gauge than my usual, I am impressed by that extra bit of volume they seem to achieve.
