I'm incredibly disappointed. I really loved the ideas of a zombie based series and was really looking forward to watching it.

I tried to force myself to like season one and gave it the benefit of the doubt. Season two was a real struggle but by season three, I couldn't take take it anymore and gave up without finishing the season.

I have two problems with the series that break it for me. Firstly, inconsistency (e.g.: sometimes walkers are so week that a single person can hold a door against 20 of them and sometimes they are so strong that they can simply tear a human's stomach open with one hand). My problem with wearing headphones in bed is not so much the discomfort but more the issue of getting tangled up with the wire. These do not really solve that problem.

Considering this story is many centuries old, I found it surprisingly easy to read and relate to.

True, there are a few typographical errors but, all in all, I liked the translation. The story remained fast paced and fluent (which cannot be said for many other translated books I have read).

With over 2000 pages across four volumes, the book is a long read and presents well over a hundred main characters. This has a strong potential for confusing the reader but I was again pleasantly surprised.
