Excellent picture qulaity on an LG Full HD TV. Disc is a bit noisy with a noticable whirring from the fan, but once the volume is up on the TV not an issue, only if you want to watch a Film on very low volume. The set up was quite easy and logical, but there are loads of options which are a bit baffling and accepting the defaults seemed to work well. The only one I had to alter was the sound level to Decompress it for TV as the volume was very low even on High settings on the TV.

I have not connected it to the internet yet, as BD live seems a bit of a waste of time to me, and an avenue for film ditributors to advertise to you. If the film wasn't good the first release, any extra… Read more

So a HDMI cable at a couple of Pounds and Gold connectors to Boot! I'm using this cable between a Sony Bluray and an LG full HD tv and an XBox and the TV. Even though it is not branded it easily conforms to the 1.3 HDMI spec and I get full 1080p @ upto 60 frames per second through it. Blurays only do 24 frames per second. Something you might expect from a 80 cable or even a 30 cable... well I would expect it from this cable and this is why.
