5.0 out of 5 stars Icelandic cow-boys, 7 Nov 2013
It is a story about sheeps, horses and men. In Iceland, sheeps are set free at the beginning of the spring. Usually they walk around avoiding men, as they are becoming wild again.
In autumn, the first snow sends the signal for bringing sheeps back. In the wilderness of Iceland and especially in the mountains, they would not survive during the winter time. On a September day, the farmers and their friends will meet for the yearly roundup.
But bringing sheeps toghether is not an easy thing. The stockmen will have to climb steep mountains and run after each sheep, an exhausting work. Occasionally, they will be helped by dogs and horses.

Josef Koudelka: Wall - Israeli & Palestinian Lands&hellip by Josef Koudelka
5.0 out of 5 stars Wall of fear, 25 Oct 2013
Koudelka is back. After having bought his last book, LIME, I was no more so sure about Koudelka. It was a little bit a boring book, too many pictures and printed too dark (owing Koudleka's wishes).
Here it is another story. It is a beautiful book, with the kind of pictures that you were waiting for. It tells us a story about a wall, one more. The Chinese wall is turning to dust in the desert (at least the not renewed parts), the Berlin wall fell after 30 years, how long will this one last? The strange thing is that this wall turns two countries into a prison, not a nice thing. But for Israelis, there is no hope, the wall is their wall and it is the wall of FEAR, poor people… Read more
Post Scriptum Christer Strömholm by Carole Naggar
5.0 out of 5 stars A collector's item, 25 Oct 2013
Finally, it was republished. All these years, I was looking for Christer Strömholm's books, but all of them were out of print. Now you have the chance to buy one, the best. It will be out of print soon again. It is a very good selection of all the classic images of this old master of photography, who influenced all Scandinavia. Definitely one of my preferite books this year. Nice lay-out, beautifully printing on a nice paper.
