Amazon.co.uk Email Gift Card - (generic design) by Amazon EU S..r.l.
4.0 out of 5 stars Gift card and message, 5 Nov 2011
I have used this facility before for friends and relatives in several parts of the world and this time, as ever, the service was speedy, excellent, precise and exactly what was required. I feared that a gift card rather than a gift itself was something of a cop-out, might be looked upon as lazy, avoiding the effort of finding something tangible. In fact, recipients have always said the gift voucher was exactly what they wanted as they could then choose for themselves. Thank you Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Missing scenes, 26 May 2011
The Goose Steps Out in this collection lacks two important passages. One is when Will Hay is addressing his class of would-be spies for the first time, and they are mispronouncing English place names, the other is when he is advising generals how best to invade England, and again the jokes depend on English place names. This seems to suggest that this is a version tailored for a foreign audience (the US?). Both pieces of dialogue are contained in full in Graham Rinaldi's study of Hay's life and films. Will Hay

English Tale is a mix of her own songs and some written by Vo Fletcher, who shares the billing with her and is heard singing as well as providing guitar and mandolin accompaniment. Ric Sanders' violin is also heard on some of the tracks. Vo Fletcher must also take credit for the production of this CD, which implies that their… Read more
