If you're buying this for room equalization - one of the suggested uses - you might be expecting to use it with a computer or to plug it into an AV amp. If so, you might be expecting it to work straight out of the box ... think again. This microphone requires (1) an XLR lead (and an interface or adapter on your PC into which the XLR lead will plug), and (2) a "phantom" power supply. If you haven't got the above, expect to pay the same as for the microphone again.
