Just a BIG word of caution. This book is actually a re-issue of 'The Divine Conquest'. This isn't clear from the Amazon listing, and I think the publishers have been a bit cute - the original title was far more appropriate. So, be warned, in case you buy a book you actually already have - like I did :( Oh well. . . .
The Lessons of John G. Lake on Prayer by Larry Keefauver

If you know about John Lake and want to devour everything you can on him/by him, you might be tempted by this book. In all honesty, it is not worth it in the least. It is merely a collection of quotes by Lake, followed by some 'meditations' on what Lake meant and how we can apply it to our own prayer life. It is one of those books that jumps on the bandwagon of an excellent writer and tries to make a bit of money out of it. Go for the real thing, like Liardon's complete collection, or the Copeland book, 'His Life His sermons, his boldness of faith'. Lake is well worth reading, but not through this book. Just reading his seromns will teach you how to pray.
