The Blood Alchemist (The Final Formula Series, Boo&hellip by Becca Andre
Really enjoyed this, love the world, love the character. Slightly perturbed by the sheer nastiness of her previous 'personality', which then makes her slightly unbelievable, but that's a mere bagatelle... Can't wait for the next book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good steampunk, 31 May 2014
Entertaining, great world building, good plot with both action and mystery.
What's not to like? Certainly worth both the money and the time.

This has a more puzzling beginning than other books by this author and there is a lot of detail that can get a bit confusing. BUT... if you persevere, I think you end up with a very nice opening (or, dare I say it, introduction) to a new world. Unlike 'The Blue Sword' this book felt slightly incomplete - almost as if you end up with more questions than are answered - equally you also end up desperately wanting there to be more books to follow - to explain the questions.
Well, I did anyway - I would buy (and enjoy) a sequel. Let's hope there is one!
