DVD NAPOLA
Excellent German film with English subtitles. Set in 1942, this is the story of a working-class teenage boy, Friedrich, whose natural talent for boxing is spotted and rewarded by him being given a place at a Napola, a Nazi boarding school where boys were indoctrinated and trained to fulfill their destiny as the elite of the Third Reich. Albrecht is also the son of the local Nazi governor who has close links with the school.

Produced on an extremely low budget, for example, all you ever see of a monster is a tentacle occasionally waving about, the film is the sort of result you would expect to get if you gave your children a camcorder and they decided to play at making… Read more
