To give this review context, I bought this on sight without reading a single review, as I loved the previous two albums and was very sad that they split up (until I heard Steel Panther...). Yes, One Way Ticket was overblown and very short, but it was still fun, and I think that counts for a lot, as so much music sounds generic and dull in the charts now.

My hopes were that this was more of the same old Darkness, and I was surprised to find quite a different album than a continuation from where they left off. I was hopeful for these when they arrived. They looked sturdy and simple and while they are simple, they certainly aren't sturdy.

The shaft is screwed into the base using a big nut, but the tool they supplied caused the nut to strip the screw thread on one of the stands. This was on the second one, so it wasn't as if I was overtightening it! As a result, I was just about able to get the shaft to stay fixed to the base, but I wouldn't want to kick it...

The back cover which hides the butterfly nut used to fix your speakers is also a bit rubbish and doesn't fit well. The only type of fixing that can be used is the 'hang-the-hole-on-a-screw-head' type

As a review of a light switch, there is only so much that can be said, but I felt that it needed to be said for these.

They look great, they are easy to install and they are cheap. I bought the 1 gang and 2 gang ones.

That's pretty much it. The only downside is that they can't exactly match your plugs and they do have a 'retro' 60's kind of look that wouldn't suit every room.

People don't tend to notice light switches in a room, but they notice these...
