I bought this because the dvd drive in my pc developed a fault & wouldn't open 9 times out of 10.I asked my local pc shop how much it would cost to repair & was quoted £55 + VAT.This seemed a little steep so I checked out the price of dvd drives & how to fit them.Found the Pioneer on Amazon for only £[] With reasonable reviews & plenty of tutorials on fitting a drive on Youtube.
Drive arrived within two days of ordering & was well packed.Took me a whole 10 minutes to remove the old drive,fit the Pioneer & be up & running.Didn't bother with bundled software(Nero 9)as I already have it installed.
