From the first single release 'Frontline' it was obvious this band were THE band to take notice of in 2006. With the release of their debut album 'This Is Hazelville' you realise just how much notice you should take of this perfect 5-piece band from all walks of life. It shouldn't work, but it does.
Perfect for listening to on a summers day... but just watch out for that darker undertone - a bit like a small dark cloud on the horizon of an otherwise perfect summer's day - after a few listens you'll realise the depth Captain have.
A band I hope will be around for a long, long time...
One of my favourite albums since I first heard it a couple of years ago. Ben Arthur's unique voice and cynically humourous, but starkly honest lyrics will not only have you singing along after a couple of listens, but will keep you coming back for more.
I've introduced Arthur's music to many of my friends and I can't think of a single person who hasn't ended up loving his music.
