The halogen light bulb that arrived with our ceiling fan/light seem to go dim gradually, so you don't realise it is failing. So we were almost relieved when it finally stopped working, and we had to go out and replace it. This is a cost-effective way to replace the bulbs, and the new one is much brighter even though it is the same wattage (actually the supplier sent 2x 80W high output bulbs which they claim are equivalent to 100W - and I have to believe them because the light is much brighter than it was and actually useful now). Thanks. Check out the 240v 78mm R7s Tungsten Halogen Lamp - 80W or its branded equivalent.

This is the narrow tape - 12mm is about 1/2 inch (about the width of your pinky finger) and it really is next-to invisible when used on gift wrapping, and to repair bits of paper. If you want to wrap parcels, I would strongly advise that you get a wider tape, although Scotch Magic is good and works fine on parcels for posting which will go outside.
