This game is beautifully made, it includes lovely miniatures and the box is designed really well so everything has a place and stuff doesn't rattle around in the box.

The gameplay is pretty easy to pick up, the general concept is that of a bamboo farmer and a panda, you have to meet objectives; by laying out game tiles in certain configurations, growing bamboo and having the panda eat bamboo.

We've played this a couple of times now and its a great game and really beautiful too. Good fun.

The game is fun to play through the first and second time, due to double sided cards. But after that you quickly learn which cards relate to which clues. Then the creative part is lost in favour of speed and recognition skills.

Still a really nice idea and good fun to play, just be sure to play with different people each time.
Concrete to Canvas: Skateboarders' Art by Jo Waterhouse
This book makes a good coffee table, eye candy book. There are plenty of good illustrations and photographs in a wide selection of styles, covering some obvious and some less obvious artists.

There is a short outline of each artist and then a selection of their work. This makes it good if you want something lightweight to inspire you, but if you are looking for something more indepth around the culture or the artists then look elsewhere.
