In Stitches: The Highs and Lows of Life as an A&E &hellip by Nick Edwards
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, 29 April 2012
I am an A&E nurse and this book gives a brilliant insight into what it is like to work in the department. It so refreshing to have someone understand the pressures we are constantly under and also know how difficult it is to change things. The book is full of brilliant funny, moving, educational and enlightening anecdotes. Really worth reading!

i really have trouble understanding anatomy and physiology but this book helped me so much. It also kept me awake during my dull A&P lectures with the fantastic pictures and descriptions.
Highly recommended!!

When starting the nursing diploma i had completely forgotten all the maths i learnt at school. I bought this book to see if it would help me and it's amazing how much i now understand.
The only problem with this book is that the description of how to do certain sums aren't always very clear and it can take a while to see what they are saying.
However, i would definately reccomend this book to anyone starting the course.
