When the devil's got your number, but you want to talk to God.... I loved this novel, which surprised me as I normally steer clear of anything involving demons and devils. But it's witty, cleverly written and has some awesome one-liners. Lucius is so hot he's almost a cliche, but it somehow works in this context and his honesty and dry sense of humour are beautifully drawn out as he sets out to claim Evie as his own. But Evie has her own agenda and what the devil wants, he's going to have to work very hard to get.

Clever, funny and a great read.

The internal logic of the story was a little thin from this point onwards, although the premise was good and the characters interesting. A light-hearted romp across a changed world in search of the solution. But then the booked stopped. I know this is book 1 of a series, but I was expecting a story resolution in this book and maybe… Read more
