This book give an indepth account of the "incident" that led to the death of the American Ambassador in Benghazi. Very well written and shows how very volatile the situation is in the Arab world.

4.0 out of 5 stars Aspects of war, 17 Oct 2013
This book contains and excellent variety of the various aspects of the first world war. From the enlistment right through to the terrible conditions in the trenches. The destructive nature of war and what it does both to mankind as well as to property. The photographs tell a very stark story from history. If only it had been "the war to end all wars".

Battle for the Elephants by Iain Douglas-Hamilton
5.0 out of 5 stars Fighting the odds, 15 Jun 2010
As an admirer of the great work undertaken by the Douglas-Hamilton family over the past 4 decades, i thoroughly enjoyed this book. It clearly shows how the conflict existed in many ways between the human race and the elephant population.
