Dub Vol.1: Original Bass Culture ~ Various Artists
5.0 out of 5 stars killa Dub,no filla., 5 April 2014
Great selection in dub at a bargain price. Got both discs, this ones the best selections. I like King Tubby's and Niney's the most, but overall everyone's a gem. Dub at its best, what you waiting for.
Getting Over The Storm ~ UB40
4.0 out of 5 stars Not that bad, 13 Feb 2014
The new UB40 lineup play reggaefied country classics. After a couple of plays, I actually enjoyed the tracks and thought it was a good selection. Easy to relax too and worth a listen.
Ska'd for Life: A Personal Journey with The Specia&hellip by Horace Panter
Well its worth a read, but there ain't much scandal in Mr Panter's book, and this is what's wrong.
In one story he'd rather fiddle around with some bass strings he's been given, rather than get down and dirty with some filly. His nickname was Gentleman and to be fair it seams all the other band members we the ones having all the fun. To be fair I think he didn't like some band members or the rock n' roll lifestyle.
If you want just a story about The specials lifenthen this is for you,but if you want a book dishing the dirt look else where.
