I have played Fifa 14 now for an entire season in career mode having eagerly awaited the update from last years previous title, which i must have spent too many hours playing and being addicted to and I can honestly say that this game is a rather large step backwards. Fifa 13 was fast, fun, realistic to a point, with a good balance of game-play and, the key word here: fun. Fifa 14 in comparison is a sludge fest of really annoying menus that look good but are impossible to navigate through, awful computer AI and the most frustrating game-play ever!

Before I begin, let me explain that I have been fortunate to own both this and an xbox 360. I dont know about you, but I get tired of all the tribal product bashing surrounding the so called 'console wars'. I am old enough to have been an owner of the Sega Megadrive and Super Nintendo and frankly the war back then was tiring! Having been an owner of the two consoles I figured that a good review would be to compare this to its main competitor which, if you are reading this, you have either considered buying instead of this or own it and are considering changing to this one.

I feel compelled to write a review based solely on the fact that I have been seduced by the reviews on the cover of this film and subsequently am now 16 worse off and 2 hours closer to my own demise filled with frustration. Now I don't profess to be an expert in film making, or indeed a 'film buff', however I do like and enjoy a good story. It is here that Kill List lacks - characterization, editing and most important of all - story.
I can only conclude that the critics of certain well known brands that label this film a 5 star masterpiece the following:
a) Been paid off to write a good review by the studio
b) Are complete morons.
