The Master And Margarita (Penguin Classics) by Mikhail Bulgakov

The Master and Margarita alternates between two stories, the one written by the Master, and the Master's own story. In the story written by the Master Pontius Pilates is the central figure and it humanizes him by presenting his thoughts, the things he had to deal with, and the choice he had to live with. On the other story, several dubious characters with magical powers create havoc in the 20th century Moscow. Heidegger is a very important philosopher that has much to contribute to psychotherapy. Unfortunately he has been overlooked because of his political stance. Still, I agree with Cohn when he says that "Heidegger's political attitude... Introducing Qualitative Research in Psychology: Ad&hellip by Carla Willig

This book delivers exactly what it says it does, an introduction to qualitative research. Being used to quantitative research I found it helpful in getting an overview of these methods and selecting the one that was best for my postgraduate dissertation. Once I did this though, I had to get another book on the specific method I selected. Still, this was an informed way to choose a research method and futher literature on the subject.
