could do with more development of the would be assassins' characters, backgrounds, purpose and motivation; otherwise a nice way to spend an evening; no swearing, taut script, believable action, moderately edge of the seat thriller: the president lacks genuine gravitas though
once again, sacrifices a degree of character development of even the main players in favour of the primary theme of the president's peril
Eva is beautiful of course!

Wow! This is utterly crazy! The guy races across Paris at goodness knows what speed at goodness knows what hour of the morning with no regard whatsoever for red lights, traffic or pedestrians (or pigeons!)
Stunning to watch. Definitely not a Merc 450 6.9 which was only ever available with automatic transmission as far as I know, in keeping with its luxury motoring raison d'etre - listen to the manual gear change, people! (Unless of course the engine sound has been dubbed; who knows...
Otherwise the car could have been any number of zippy Italian mid-engined V8s

I listened to this with the biggest smile I've had on my face for a long time and that's because there's something about these guys which suggests very strongly that they don't take themselves too seriously and yet they're tremendous musicians to pull this one off
vocals have a certain grating edge not unlike Mr Gabriel; they're much more exposed than Gabriel's on the original but don't suffer for that
love the female vocals in the Lamia (aren't the Lamia female anyway? of Greek mythological origin or some such, I believe...) and the choral work in Silent Sorrow is simply sublime and you will simply laugh out loud when you hear the Scree; what a delight… Read more
