Tremendous disappointment! The wonderful Midnight in Paris promised a 'return to form', but, alas, no. Woody Allen's Italian venture is disjointed, strained, talent-wasting, unconvincing and, well, un-funny. 'Vague' and 'flat' are the other epithets that come to mind. I gave up half way through. Blue Jasmine is by all accounts a treat and I look forward to watching it -- but what a shame that To Rome... should prove so dismal as to be unwatchable!
