Gurdjieff's Early Talks 1914-1931 by Joseph Azize

This book, after my study of Gurdjieff in theory and practice for more than 50 years, has managed to open my eyes to many of the beauties Mr. Gurdjieff brought to us. I hope it can take place for many others too.

I am thankful for the publishers from bringing this version out; it lacks the editing that was incorporated into "Views from the Real World", and says many things in the raw Gurdjieff-language, and speaks directly to the reader.

To tell the essentials of the prayer of Jesus, Bishop Kallistos has not had any need to use more space. This is the most complete, clear and concise presentation of the practice of the prayer of Jesus that I have come across. Fully recommended for just as well beginners as for those who have been practicing a longer time.
Mount Athos: Renewal in Paradise by Graham Speake
5.0 out of 5 stars A Rare Book, 10 April 2013
I finally got hold of this book in February this year (2013) and managed to read it slowly and carefully through with great interest!

In my view, the book puts Graham Speake as a writer on to an extraordinary high level.

As the Holy Mountain has been of interest for me, I have read many books on it. This book is the one that seems to tell all that the others have said, and it is adding dimensions of inside and outside knowledge to those, but at the same time Speake manages to retain and deepen the mystery of the place.

If I would be asked which book on Mount Athos I could recommend, this is the book!
