This EP shows solid progression from Snapshot, with signs that the writing side is developing nicely.

To my aged ears, The Strypes fall between three stools. On one sit the Wilko-era Feelgoods, on another The Strokes and the third has an Arctic Monkey or two. There's a strong bias toward the former, which is no bad thing. They're not the finished article yet, which is fantastic news because they're already great. How awesome they could get? Let's hope we get to see.

Lovely face cream. I'm a great fan of oils in cosmetic products and this does not disappoint. I am somewhat sceptical about it's potential for reducing wrinkles but then at 51 I know there is no topical cream that is ever going to make me look twenty and so I am happy enough in my own skin to have more realistic expectations. That said, it goes on easily, absorbs readily and makes my skin feel good - would recommend people try it.

Not only is inferior to Trilogy but after only one week the rubberised cap split so the air can get to it at any time and in order to keep the product fresh I am forced to house in the fridge, hardly very practical. Disappointing on many levels, but if nothing else, I've at least been taught a lesson - that you really only get what you pay for.
