Firstly let me say im not a fan of cover albums and secondly i wasn't expecting to really like this album.

I brought this album for myself as a Christmas present and also as im a fan of the Mission and wanted to support the efforts of Mr Hussey. I guess i was hoping for a small taste of the mission when i brought the album (of which i can find very little)

This is something i didn't quiet expect. I really enjoy the album and i find it quite relaxing, calming and spacie. The songs are reworked to such an extent that they don't interfere with the originals and are something new.

I really enjoy Regens voice and i think the hussey-regen collaboration works well… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars 4 Track Single, 12 April 2002
If there is one thing the mish do well, its produce good b-sides. Aura is not complete without this single (and Evangeline for that matter). Never Let Me Down is typical mish b-side (doh! why wasn't this on the album? cover I think). Spider & The Fly (In The Ointment) is a pretty good version of the Masque hit. Sorry is kind of curish, maybe ! Keep those singles coming lads !

5.0 out of 5 stars Keep the Faith, 12 April 2002
Finally after 5 years The Mission graces us with another album. It's been a long wait, but worth while. Its a good album. This recording is a strong contender for its place as the best Mission album ever.
It brings together everything that's been good about the Mission since 1986. The gloom, the mood, the classic mish guitar sound, the lyrics and the unique voice of Mr Hussey. It's also nice to hear Craig Adams great bass playing again. Children meets Neverland.
Shine like the stars, Mesmerised, Dragonfly and In Denial are my best picks from this album.
Lets just pray this isnt the last album from Wayne and co ! Keep emm coming lads.
