Dangerous Boys by Abigail Haas
Dangerous Boys by Abigail Haas
5.0 out of 5 stars Great thriller!, 21 Aug 2014
Dangerous Girls was one of my favourite books of the year so when I saw this book was coming out I just had to read it.
Thankfully I loved it just as much as Dangerous Girls, its not quite as mysterious (what a twist that book had at the end) but its still a really great, thrilling, psychological read that had me turning the pages super quick to find out just what happened.
I love the way the book is written flitting back and forth between past and present and the characters are so well written, you never know who to trust. If Abigail keeps up this form she will certainly become one of my favourite authors.
A Safe Space (Someone Else's Fairytale 2.75) by E.M. Tippetts
When I received this book I didn't realise it was the 4th in a series I have never read before but luckily it makes no difference as this can be read as a standalone. (Although I wish I had read Kyra's story in the previous book, I will have to check that out.)
I was immediately drawn to this book because of the fame side of things, I love the whole world of TV, music and film and in this book we meet Lizzie who is a former children's TV star who had her own show and did concerts as her character Veronica. (I couldn't help but think of Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana.) However the show has now been cancelled and Lizzie is trying to make a success of her career away from Veronica.

Its almost impossible to talk about this book without mentioning Pretty Little Liars, they are extremely similar but since when is that a bad thing?!? I absolutely love PLL and am always on the lookout for books along the same theme, basically fun thrillers with hot teens in them.
Instead of being stalked by A, our three girls in this book are sent dares from a mysterious person and if they don't complete them secrets they really don't want to get out will get out. Yes its farfetched (as is PLL) but I just loved it. I am definitely going to pick up the next book ASAP and just wish it would go on as long as the PLL series. Maybe it can get its own TV series......
