Philips QT4022/32 Pro Stubble Trimmer by Philips
2.0 out of 5 stars Not the best trimmer., 27 Jun 2014
Bought this as a replacement to a cheaper battery trimmer. As its a Phillips I thought it would be good as its a reputable brand so thought I would upgrade. Battery stopped charging not long after I got it so have to always use connected to the mains which is a pain.

Most annoying thing about it is the adjuster wheel where you can change the cut height settings, they have placed it right where your fingers/thumb goes when you shave so you can inadvertantly change the setting while shaving! I've had to go shorter a few times!!!

The height guide is also is really cheap plastic and a bit rubbish.

Oxford Aquatex Motorbike Motorcycle Cover. Large. by Oxford
3.0 out of 5 stars Does the job., 12 Mar 2014
I've had a couple of these covers and they tend to last about a year to 18 months before needing to be replaced. My bike stays outside in all weathers. I'm about to buy my third one. The material gets fragile over time, you can tell this when the silver sheen goes off and then they start to rip. My cat hasn't helped as uses my bike as a way to get onto the fence!!

They are very light weight, the clip you can use to secure it under the bike works and does keep it on the bike when… Read more

If you like the adventure books written by Thor Heyerdahl, then you will absolutely love this as its along similar lines. In a nutshell Bengt Danielsson went to live on Raroia which is in French Polynesia with his wife and live among the people on the island and understand their lifestyle/customs and history. Bengt has broken down a number of aspects of this into relevant chapters so he devotes a whole chapter on the coconut and how its used, then another chapter on fishing methods and fish, its all really interesting.

The book is really heartwarming and the people he has written about in his adopted family are all lovely.

The book is really well translated and is… Read more
