5.0 out of 5 stars Must read, 19 July 2014
If you ever went to Brixton Academy in the 80s and 90s ( as I did countless times) this is a must read. If you go now, this is a must read, if you love live music and never been this is a must read. Simon Parkes is a legend he did so much for the music industry.
Get it, this is a must read book for all music lovers.
Simon Parkes stood up to dealers, gangsters, agents, bank managers, over bearing artist managers, councillors, death threats, gas bombing, robberies, to create on one the best venues in the world.
Couldn't put it down.

5.0 out of 5 stars slow and moody, 25 Nov 2013
A great new track from the artist Melatone. I seen Melatone many times as a solo artist( doing the looping guitar thing) and as a band, both are excellent. Here Melatone show the moody slowly side. It reminds me of very early REM ( Murmur), Iron and Wine and Early Mark Lanegan.
Great video, haunting song well worth £0.89p!

I had the originals but these have been remastered and remastered extremely well. The tracks come flying out at you.
Songs like Laid back and Flow free are early recordings. But where they really start to shine is on 'My last day' awesomely dark moody and very post rock(way ahead of its time).
This album just about covers all the genres of rock, 'Feel' with its changed of pace half way through, and massive guitar solo(Slash who?). The funked up heaviness of 'Concept', the out there 'Trip', the… Read more
