The recipes are simple: they don't involve complicated techniques, hours of prep or long lists of ingredients. The results are healthy and delicious. They genuinely taste like the versions available in Itsu. I am going to make A LOT of these recipes over and over again!
NB Particularly good for gluten-free/lactose-free diets.
The author has an apartment that she rents in New York. She's done a nice job of decorating it in a Scandianvian style. This is basically her showing you around her apartment.
I bought this for the DIY craft projects mentioned in the description. There are no DIY craft projects in this book. There's a stencil.
There are some interesting-looking Swedish recipes on card in the back though and I like the tear-out presentation of these. I'll be trying them out. But if you want a book of (excellent) projects to make I'd buy the author's Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing instead.
