5.0 out of 5 stars Beers for Ears, 22 Jan 2014
Like another reviewer, I was introduced to Jonquil via YouTube and what a marvellous revelation it has been. This is a great sounding album, not over-produced but easy on the ear with themes both upbeat and wistful that stick in your head. I also agree with the same reviewer that there is a vocal similarity with Tears for Fears (we're showing our age pal!) although 'Run' is vaguely reminiscent of The Housemartins. Nonetheless this album is good in its own right and should stand the test of time.

Standout tracks for me are It's My Part, Point of Go (Part 2) and History of Headaches.

Listen to them on YouTube by all means but purchase a CD or three and go to a concert if… Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Not a GPS Tracker, 1 Nov 2013
The price should provide a big hint but this is NOT a GPS tracker but an LBS tracker. If you look at the photo of the manual you will see it clearly says LBS and doesn't mention GPS.

The location information is based on the location of the mobile phone cell mast it is using, which means that the position is always going much more vague than typical GPS. If you are expecting pin-point precision, this device will not give it to you. It does appear to work given these limitations although the vibration alarm seems to be too sensitive to be useful and the power fail alarm is NOT enabled as the device is missing an internal backup power source (i.e. a battery or capacitor). This is… Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Great board, 16 Feb 2013
Have just built a cheap system using this board, 16GB of PC1600 DDR3 and an FX-6300 (Vishera) CPU. Booted without any problems or needing any potentially difficult BIOS update. There are plenty of USB 2 and 3 sockets, probably far more than you'll ever need - even if some are permanently dedicated to recharging portable devices.

Be aware that using the x16 physical but x8 mode PCIe slot will reduce the x16/x16 slot to x8 lanes only. So if you intend to use CrossFireX or SLI, then *both* cards will be at x8. Whether this makes any significant difference is debatable.
