Children Of The Mind: Ender Series, book 4 (Ender &hellip by Orson Scott Card
Firstly, I loved the other books, but mostly Enders game. It had a fantastic mix of action, decisive choices and subtlety brilliant mind games. This book is only political machinations, and on a transcended trippy level at that. The plot goes nowhere from the last book. If the sequences were shortened, re-written and at least some dash of consequences inset it might get to three stars. A pitiful end to what was a great series.

Very good, does do a lot of philosophising, but does it well- the problem is it's very much a thinking and theorising book, the action happens suddenly without much warning and in isolated pockets, it makes it feel credible but I do miss the space warfare of Enders game. A very good book, hobbled by being not what you expected not by any real issues.
The First Law Trilogy Boxed Set: The Blade Itself,&hellip by Joe Abercrombie
5.0 out of 5 stars epic romp, 27 Oct 2013
Very good epic romp, fantasy style similar to Brandon Sanderson, and finally someone who's finished a series!!! I Highly recommend.
