Very good read and would thoroughly recommend. Weaves easily in and out of the biographies of the the 4 women in question and very easy to follow. Historical context of the time is perfectly detailed without being too unnecessarily complex. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that I would have liked more detail on the children (e.g there are only a few paragraphs dedicated to Mary' s son john, which I think should have warranted more.)
Very good book.
