The wealth of info you can find in this book is worth at least three times the cost of it.
As a naval architect, through the years I've gathered plenty of information about the topics dealt with in this book, but even though, after half an hour I had found many useful things.
Topics covered are: shaft lines (from engine beds to propeller nuts), fuel systems, exhaust systems, rudders and steering, ventilation, air conditioning and heating, bilge&firefighting, freshwater&sewage, anchoring.
The appendix on international pipe standards is the clearer explanation on this confusing subject I've ever come accross.
