I have bought several packs of these discs previously with very few problems. But the last batch yielded 9 coasters out of 10 and the one disc I was able to burn corrupted in a couple of days, losing the material recorded. A real shame.

Tom Cruise has made and will continue to make several good action movies, but the idea of casting him as Jack Reacher was controversial and I have to say misguided, because, well, it keeps coming back to the height thing, which is very obvious visually, and the viewer familiar with Lee Child's novels would have always found it difficult to get over that. Nevertheless, Jack Reacher is a solid action movie and holds the attention all the way through, if you are willing to suspend dis-belief on a few occasions.
British export Rosamund Pike is excellent as the hot-shot lawyer, and Robert Duvall as the wizened old sniper does not disappoint, but Werner Herzog as the sinister,… Read more

The 1962 film Night of the Eagle is based on the Fritz Leiber story Conjure Wife (first published in 1943) and stands as an original and intriguing example of how cinema treated the occult during the fifties and sixties, and almost attains the level of the handful of classics of the genre at that time. Known by the better title of Burn, Witch, Burn in the US, the story is driven along nicely by Sidney Hayer's taut direction, right from the eerie opening titles.
