I have been waiting eagerly for this book to be released for most of this year having really enjoyed Sarah's baby book. Well I am certainly not disappointed, I devored it in one 4 hour long sitting yesterday and actually want to read it again today I loved it so much. I think this is perhaps even better than BabyCalm and that's saying something! ToddlerCalm is so unique and so fresh in a sea of parenting advice books from rigid nannies that belong in the 1970s, it's fresh, new, exciting and bang up to date full of new science and suggestions that actually help toddlers as well as their parents. Alfie Kohn has some good ideas and I found myself agreeing with a lot of what he said, but I felt it lacked a little in applying to real life and it came across as a little preachy in places.

I love this book. It's so positive and inspiring about breastfeeding when we are surrounded with so much negativity. I buy it for all my friends who hope to breastfeed.
